Introducing Your Academic Background - C1

Good afternoon, I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. To give you a sense of who I am, I studied Business, Economics, and Mathematics at college, and, notably, I am currently in my second year of a Business Management degree. Beyond the obvious, I completed a short placement at a local retailer during my first year. At the same time, I have consistently achieved strong grades in marketing-related modules, particularly when other demands make that harder than it sounds. If there's a thread running through all of this, it's probably that I plan to pursue a master's degree after finishing my undergraduate studies. In many ways, what defines me has less to do with any single fact and more to do with how a fairly steady academic path can still lead somewhere you didn't fully expect.
