Introducing Your Degree - C2

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. I am studying for a BSc in Business Management, and, perhaps less obviously, I am in the second of three years. Beyond the immediately apparent, I have modules ranging from marketing to organisational behaviour. At the same time, I completed a placement module at a small local retailer last year, if only because the alternative rarely serves anyone well. What I find myself returning to, more than anything else, is that I will choose a specialism, likely marketing, in my final year. If nothing else, I hope this makes clear that what defines me is less any isolated fact than how a broad degree in the early years gives you room to discover what you're actually good at.
