Introducing Your Favorite Subject - C2

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. I most enjoy Consumer Behaviour out of all my modules, and, perhaps less obviously, I like how it mixes psychology with business strategy. Beyond the immediately apparent, I remember a case study on a failed product launch that changed how I think about marketing. At the same time, I spend more time reading around this subject than any other, if only because the alternative rarely serves anyone well. What I find myself returning to, more than anything else, is that I am hoping to specialise in this area for my final-year dissertation. If nothing else, I hope this makes clear that what defines me is less any isolated fact than how enjoying a subject usually shows in the reading you do that nobody assigned you.
