Hello, I'm Ali, a twenty-six-year-old primary school teacher who grew up in London and has lived in Manchester for the past two years. I would like to become a head of department within five years, and, in fact, I dream of writing a short book about teaching one day. Beyond that, I want to travel to Japan, somewhere I've wanted to visit for years. I also hope to buy a small house with a garden, which matters to me even when things get busy. What's more, I would like to run a marathon before I turn thirty. Taken together, I think these details give a fairly honest picture of who I am.
