Introducing Your Major / Field of Study - C1

Good afternoon, I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. To give you a sense of who I am, I am majoring in Business Management with a focus on marketing, and, notably, I became interested in marketing after a module on consumer behaviour. Beyond the obvious, I particularly enjoy analysing why certain brands succeed and others don't. At the same time, I am considering a dissertation on social media marketing for small businesses, particularly when other demands make that harder than it sounds. If there's a thread running through all of this, it's probably that I hope to work in brand management after graduating. In many ways, what defines me has less to do with any single fact and more to do with how a single interesting module can quietly redirect an entire degree.
