Introducing Your Major / Field of Study - C2

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. I am majoring in Business Management with a focus on marketing, and, perhaps less obviously, I became interested in marketing after a module on consumer behaviour. Beyond the immediately apparent, I particularly enjoy analysing why certain brands succeed and others don't. At the same time, I am considering a dissertation on social media marketing for small businesses, if only because the alternative rarely serves anyone well. What I find myself returning to, more than anything else, is that I hope to work in brand management after graduating. If nothing else, I hope this makes clear that what defines me is less any isolated fact than how a single interesting module can quietly redirect an entire degree.
