Introducing Your School - C1

Good afternoon, I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. To give you a sense of who I am, I attended Bradford Grammar School until I was eighteen, and, notably, I had a business studies teacher who first got me interested in the subject. Beyond the obvious, I was part of the debate team for three years. At the same time, I remember the school being strict but genuinely supportive, particularly when other demands make that harder than it sounds. If there's a thread running through all of this, it's probably that I still keep in touch with two teachers from those years. In many ways, what defines me has less to do with any single fact and more to do with how one good teacher can end up shaping an entire career path.
