Introducing Your School - C2

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. I attended Bradford Grammar School until I was eighteen, and, perhaps less obviously, I had a business studies teacher who first got me interested in the subject. Beyond the immediately apparent, I was part of the debate team for three years. At the same time, I remember the school being strict but genuinely supportive, if only because the alternative rarely serves anyone well. What I find myself returning to, more than anything else, is that I still keep in touch with two teachers from those years. If nothing else, I hope this makes clear that what defines me is less any isolated fact than how one good teacher can end up shaping an entire career path.
