Good afternoon, I'm Adam a twenty-six-year-old primary school teacher who grew up in London and has lived in Manchester for the past two years. To give you a sense of who I am, I am patient and good at explaining things simply, and, notably, I listen carefully, which helps me notice when a student is struggling. Beyond the obvious, I can be disorganised with paperwork if I'm not careful. At the same time, I sometimes take on too many extra responsibilities at school, particularly when other demands make that harder than it sounds. If there's a thread running through all of this, it's probably that I am working on saying no to things I don't actually have time for. In many ways, what defines me has less to do with any single fact and more to do with how weaknesses are often just strengths taken slightly too far.
