Introducing Your University - C1

Good afternoon, I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. To give you a sense of who I am, I study at the University of Leeds, and, notably, I chose it partly for the strong business school and partly for the city itself. Beyond the obvious, I lived in student halls in my first year and share a house now. At the same time, I joined a hiking society to make friends outside my course, particularly when other demands make that harder than it sounds. If there's a thread running through all of this, it's probably that I think the size of the university took some getting used to. In many ways, what defines me has less to do with any single fact and more to do with how a good university choice is as much about the city and community as the course itself.
