Introducing Your University - C2

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sara — a twenty-year-old Business Management student at the University of Leeds, originally from Bradford. I study at the University of Leeds, and, perhaps less obviously, I chose it partly for the strong business school and partly for the city itself. Beyond the immediately apparent, I lived in student halls in my first year and share a house now. At the same time, I joined a hiking society to make friends outside my course, if only because the alternative rarely serves anyone well. What I find myself returning to, more than anything else, is that I think the size of the university took some getting used to. If nothing else, I hope this makes clear that what defines me is less any isolated fact than how a good university choice is as much about the city and community as the course itself.
