Thank you very much for the offer, I'm genuinely excited about the role itself. I'm really looking forward to what this position involves, as well as the team behind it. Beyond my enthusiasm, though, based on my experience, I was hoping for a somewhat higher starting salary. Would it be possible for us to discuss that figure a little further? I'm certainly open to finding a number that works well for both of us.
