Thank you very much for the offer, I'm genuinely excited about the role itself. I'm really looking forward to what the position involves, as well as the team I'd be joining. Beyond my enthusiasm, though, based on my experience and the market rate, I was hoping for a somewhat higher starting salary. Would it be possible for us to discuss that figure a little further? I'm certainly open to finding a number that works for both of us.
